Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: September 28, 2026

Summary

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time.
  • Your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.
  • On your first payment, you have 14 days to request a full refund.
  • After those 14 days, billing periods already started are not refunded.
  • Payments and refunds are processed by Paddle.com, our authorized reseller.

1. Scope

This policy applies to Northlav Cloud subscriptions (Starter, Growth and Business plans), operated by Andy Alejandro Alemán Chávez, a sole trader registered in Costa Rica, under the Northlav Studio brand.

It does not cover third-party charges the Customer contracts directly (for example, Meta messaging fees), as described in section 2 of the Terms of Service.

2. Payments through Paddle

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it collects payment, issues the invoice and handles customer service inquiries related to billing and returns.

In addition to this policy, Paddle's Buyer Terms apply.

3. Cancellation

  • The subscription renews automatically every month until the Customer cancels it.
  • The Customer can cancel at any time from Settings → Plan → Manage subscription, from the link in the Paddle receipt, or by emailing northlavstudio@gmail.com.
  • Once cancelled, no further charges are made. The plan stays active until the end of the paid period, after which the account becomes inactive.
  • After cancellation, the Customer may request an export of their data under our Retention Policy.

4. When a refund applies

  • First payment: full refund if requested within 14 calendar days of the first subscription charge.
  • Duplicate or erroneous charges: always refunded, regardless of date.
  • Failure attributable to Northlav: if the platform could not be provided for a significant part of the period for reasons attributable to Northlav, a pro-rata refund will be considered.
  • Renewals: outside the cases above, periods already started are not refunded, in whole or in part.

No refund applies when the account is suspended for breaching the Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or due to a lack of approval by an external provider (for example, Meta) outside Northlav's control. Nothing in this policy limits any statutory rights you may have as a consumer in your country.

5. How to request a refund

Email northlavstudio@gmail.com from your account email, stating the business name and the charge date, or contact Paddle directly from the link in your receipt. We reply within 3 business days.

Approved refunds are issued by Paddle.com to the original payment method; how long they take to appear depends on your bank or card issuer.

6. Changes to this policy

Northlav may update this policy. Changes are published on this page with their date and do not affect charges already made.
